Occupational Violence Prevention, Aggression Management and Front Line Adaptive Communication (FLAC) Programs
THE PROCOM TEAM HAVE SOUND EXPERTISE OPERATIONALLY AND IN TRAINING DISCIPLINES RANGING FROM GENERAL TO SPECIALIST.
Programs are designed to build capability in front line staff managing situations of confrontation and aggression and to prevent occupational violence. Programs are face to face with eLearn options available and course duration is either 4, 8 or 16 hours. Closely working with the client in development ensures that each program is specific to the working environment and challenges faced with a focus on dynamic risk assessment, negotiation philosophy to de-escalate and small team tactics. Courses are practical exercise heavy and built to accommodate modules including ‘ICE’ awareness, active armed offender awareness, human behaviours, psychological aspects and last resort defensive tactics as the client requires. Virtual reality components and electronic workbooks are also optioned in the 8 and 16-hour programs. This training has achieved great success and measurable results with staff including paramedics, flight attendants, security, safety and compliance teams.
